Install

  1. Open the .dmg file
  2. Drag Helix into Applications
  3. Launch Helix

Windows​

Install

  1. Run the installer .exe
  2. Follow the setup wizard
  3. Launch Helix from the Start Menu

Install

  1. Download the .apk file
  2. Enable "Install from unknown sources" in Settings
  3. Open the .apk to install

iOS (sideload)​

Download for iOS (unsigned)
  • Requires iPhone / iPad (iOS 15.0+)
  • Unsigned IPA — use AltStore or SideStore to sideload
  • Or sign with a third-party tool like 3uTools

Install

  1. Install AltStore / SideStore on your computer
  2. Connect your iPhone to the computer
  3. Download this IPA file
  4. Import and install via AltStore / SideStore
Why unsigned?

Helix is not enrolled in the Apple Developer Program, so the IPA is not signed by Apple. You will need to sideload it yourself. No jailbreak required.

Backend server​

Use this path for remote usage, web mode, and self-hosting.

Web app​

Launch Helix Web
Web mode limitations
  • No direct local filesystem access
  • No local terminal integration
  • Best for evaluation and remote usage patterns

Install web app as PWA (optional)​

  1. Open Helix Web
  2. Click the install icon in the address bar
  3. Confirm install

Safari (macOS)

  1. Open Helix Web
  2. File → Add to Dock
  3. Confirm add

macOS: unidentified developer​

Desktop app

  1. Right-click app → Open
  2. Confirm Open
  3. Or allow under System Settings → Privacy & Security

Server binary

Windows: protected your PC​

  1. Click More info
  2. Click Run anyway
  3. Optional: Properties → Unblock
